## Myth: Botox Will Make My Face Look Frozen

## Myth: Botox is Painful
Botox injections aren’t very painful. You may feel some discomfort at the injection site, but that’s all. Botox is less painful than dermal fillers, microneedling, or chemical peels. After treatment, you may notice some slight swelling or bruising at the injection site, but this will go away on its own within a few days. 

## Myth: Botox Will Erase Wrinkles
Botox can smooth fine lines and soften wrinkles, leaving you with a youthful glow and smoother skin. But Botox can’t erase all your wrinkles. Botox targets dynamic wrinkles, or wrinkles caused by muscle movement. These wrinkles can be smoothed away or softened with Botox. If you stop using Botox, dynamic wrinkles will slowly return to your face because of repetitive muscle movements. But Botox won’t make these wrinkles worse. If you choose to stop using Botox, you’ll see some wrinkles come back, but they won’t be any deeper than before. 

## Myth: Botox is Permanent
