I became a nurse because I wanted to help people during difficult times in their life and make a real difference. It’s very fulfilling to play a role in someone’s healing process, both physically and emotionally. It’s all about consistently showing up for my patients and offering quality care. I also love that nursing is a very dynamic field. There are a variety of opportunities to help people in different ways and phases throughout life, and there’s always something new to learn.

## Education and Qualifications
Before I started nursing, I spent 10 years working in customer service and property management. My first degree was in liberal arts and behavioral science from West Valley College in Saratoga, CA.

Several years ago, I transitioned to nursing, and I absolutely love it. I completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing from California State University, San Marcos, and I’ve been nursing for over 6 years. I currently work at Kaiser Roseville in the emergency department.

I am a huge advocate for self-love. One way you can practice self care is by taking care of the skin you’re in. I have a 7-step skincare routine that I never skip. But maintaining healthy and beautiful skin is more than cleansing and regular moisturizing.  As we age, elevating our skincare routine becomes more important than ever. ## A Bit About Me
I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Rocklin 5 years ago. It’s such a family-friendly area, and close to nature. My partner is a firefighter/paramedic for the Sacramento City Fire Department, and we have 2 children, aged 14 and 3. Our family loves being active. My daughter has gymnastics, dance, and soccer each week, and my son plays football for Rocklin High School (go Thunder!). He has played 6+ years of flag football but I still have no idea how the game works. I make up for it by being a great cheerleader and his #1 fan. 

I love to work out, go on trail walks with my kids, and be out in nature. We also travel and go camping a few times a year. When we moved here, we adopted 2 cats. Little Lion and Calistope are wonderful additions to our family.
