## Eat a Well-Balanced Diet
Did you know that your diet affects your skin? Staying hydrated and eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables can give a boost to your skin. These nutrients can improve collagen production and give you smoother skin. You should also avoid eating processed foods and reduce your sugar intake.

Maintaining a healthy weight can also benefit your skin. A regular exercise routine along with a healthy diet can make you look and feel your best, and it can make Botox last longer. 
## Get More Zinc
While all the vitamins and minerals are important for your health and wellbeing, zinc can actually increase Botox results. Zinc can make Botox more effective and last longer. You can take a zinc supplement to enhance your Botox results. 
## Avoid Exercise Right After Botox
You’ve probably heard that you should avoid exercise after Botox. Exercise increases blood flow throughout the body, including the face. If you exercise right after a Botox injection, the Botox has a harder time settling into the target muscles and it can even migrate to nearby muscles. This will reduce the effectiveness and could even lead to some unwanted side effects.

Avoid exercising for 24 hours after your Botox injection. And in the next few days, avoid very strenuous exercise. Give the Botox some time to settle before getting back to your regular workouts.

While you should avoid the gym for 24 hours, there are some exercises you can do right after Botox. Exercising your facial muscles can help Botox settle faster into target muscles. You can exercise your facial muscles by making faces, opening your mouth wide, and raising and lowering your eyebrows. Do a few exercises and then let Botox do the rest. Exercising your facial muscles the day you get Botox can make Botox last longer.
## Decrease Stress
No one likes stress, and Botox is no exception. Stress can impact your physical health and even make Botox less effective. When you’re feeling stressed your body releases cortisol, the stress hormone that can speed up signs of aging. To make Botox last longer, find a relaxing self-care activity that can decrease your stress.
## Be Patient
Botox results don’t show up right away. After your first injection, it takes a week or two to see the full effects. If you’re not completely satisfied with your results, you may decide to book a follow-up appointment for a little extra Botox. Over time, Botox will also train your facial muscles to stay more relaxed. Your injections can start lasting longer, giving you smoother skin with fewer Botox appointments.
