As a nurse, I’m able to help others in their most vulnerable times and make a difference in their life. I’m also very passionate about serving the underserved within my community. After spending the COVID lockdown working as an ICU nurse, I began to look more seriously into pursuing my passion for aesthetics. 

Offering aesthetic treatments is a fantastic way to help my clients feel good about themselves. I love seeing the smile on my clients’ faces when they get the results they want. Working as a bedside nurse is impactful, but I’m excited to spend more time on the joyful side of nursing.

# Education and Qualifications
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from San Diego State University and a BSN from Samuel Merritt University. During the first 8 years of my nursing career, I worked in a high-acuity ICU where we treated a wide array of critically ill patients, including trauma, surgical, respiratory, stroke, and neurosurgery. I became a certified critical care nurse in 2019.

Currently I work at San Joaquin General Hospital as a New Graduate Nurse Mentor. In this role, I support new nurses as they transition to independent bedside nurses. I encourage their professional development and provide them with opportunities to enhance their skills.

I think we all need to take a little more time for ourselves and do what makes us feel good. Self-care is such a huge part of our overall wellness and makes a big difference in our quality of life. Aesthetic treatments can be a great form of self-care, helping you look and feel your best. If that means a little Botox to keep the wrinkles away, I’m all for it! Other aesthetic treatments that make you love your skin can boost your confidence and help you feel amazing inside and out.

# A Bit About Me
I grew up in Tracy, moved to San Diego for university, and then moved back to be closer to my parents. I have two beautiful daughters aged 2 and 6, and they’re hands down my favorite people in the world. We also have a black lab named Kona who the kids adore.

I love spending time with my kiddos and taking them on new adventures. Some of our regular activities include getting outside, going to the park, and enjoying fro-yo. We love taking trips to the beach and camping at the lake. Spending quality time with my kids encourages me to slow down and be in-the-moment as much as possible. One of the reasons I love nursing is that I can create a schedule that works for me. That way I don’t have to miss out on any of the important moments with my kids.

Some of my hobbies that don’t include my kids are wine tasting, true crime, coffee, trying out new restaurants, or spending a day out with my girlfriends.
