When I was young, my mother was in the hospital a lot. I remember how comforting the nurses were and the compassionate care they gave my mother. At age 5, I dreamed of being one of those nurses who could play a healing role in someone’s recovery. I became a nurse 19 years later. I still think about the rippling effects nursing care can have on family members, and I treat my clients with the standard of care I would expect for my own family.

## Education and Qualifications
I studied at California State University, Chico, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. I have been an acute care Registered Nurse for the past 12 years and have also held the position of Clinical Nursing Instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College. I currently work at Petaluma Valley Hospital on the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit. I hold myself to the highest standards. Clinical excellence should be the baseline of care for each and every aesthetics client to ensure the best results.

## Botox Helped Me Feel Young Again
I think that true beauty starts with feeling comfortable in your skin. When you are comfortable with your body, you exude self-confidence. I see Botox as a simple, non-invasive procedure that can have a really powerful impact on how you feel about yourself. I also have personal experience with aesthetic treatments. After having two children and somehow gaining a forehead of worry lines, I explored Botox. Just one treatment was enough to feel a little part of my “pre-mom” self returning. It was the self-care and self-confidence boost I needed! I went into it expecting to have fewer lines on my forehead, but I also got an overall brighter, revitalized feeling when I looked in the mirror.

## A Bit About Me
I was born in Fairfax, VA, then moved to Sebastopol, CA when I was 5 years old. After graduating from Chico State, I settled in Petaluma, and I never want to leave! There’s a unique mix of young families new to the area, multi-generational farming families, and locals who have been around Petaluma for ages.
 
I have been married to my husband, PJ, for 7 years. We have two children aged 7 and 4. We also have a house full of pets which include a hairless guinea pig named Boomer, a cat named Pistachio, and a Mastiff-Golden Doodle puppy named Scout. When I’m not playing dragons or crafting with my kids, I spend every free moment in the garden. I love growing anything from giant dahlias to eclectic pumpkin varieties. I also enjoy reading, camping, hiking, and mixing up experimental craft cocktails.
