I became a nurse to make a difference in the lives of others. I’m especially passionate about working with moms and babies. Ultimately, my goal is to help women feel good about themselves both inside and out. What motivates me in my work is the desire to leave everyone a little better than I found them. Each interaction I have, whether with a client or a patient, is a moment to make a difference in their lives. You never know what the ripple effect can be.

# Education and Qualifications
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, and I hold a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Aspen University in Colorado. I currently work as the Director of Maternal Child Health at Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek, providing oversight and working to improve the health of all our moms and babies. I also work as a skincare consultant for Rodan + Fields.

I have received training in Botox and other aesthetic treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, and PRP. As a trusted expert in neonatal care, I have a lot of experience starting IVs and inserting central lines, even for our smallest patients. This experience has helped make me a confident injector with a gentle touch.

# A Bit About Me
I grew up in Cleveland and West Virginia but moved to California over 30 years ago. I lived in Martinez for many years, and now live in the beautiful Napa Valley. I’m from a military family. My husband Larry and I have four grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and nine amazing grandchildren that I absolutely adore. 

When I’m not at work or spending time with the grandkids, I enjoy making quilts and engaging in women’s ministry. I’m also an avid Jazzerciser! Some people may say I have a shoe obsession, as I have over 200 pairs of shoes. I’m also addicted to diet Pepsi and all the carbs.
