I’ve always been deeply curious about the way things work. In college, I even took mechanical engineering courses to learn more. The human body is the most fascinating machine of all, and I am interested in how it develops, changes, and heals. This led me to a career in nursing. I feel a strong sense of duty to care for those around me and it fills my heart to know that I was able to help improve somebody's life.

## Education and Qualifications
I received an Associate of Arts degree from Columbia Basin College, then completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington State University. Only then did I decide to pursue nursing. I attended Spokane Community College for my Associate's degree in nursing, then received a Master’s in Nursing Leadership and Health Care Systems from Grand Canyon University. I’m a lifelong learner, and I’m back in school again doing a Nurse Practitioner degree at United States University.

I started working in aesthetics in 2009. I treated celebrities, TV personalities, and high-profile patients in Beverly Hills. After a few years I became a Botox trainer for Orange County, then all of Southern California. In 2019, I took a position with Cynosure as a nationwide clinical education specialist. I collaborate with plastic surgeons, medical aestheticians, medical offices, and medical spas all over the country. I want to bring my experience to the Tahoe Basin and provide the community with a trusted clinician to help people achieve their aesthetic goals. I have expertise in Botox, IPL, laser, RF, ultrasound, IV therapy, and skincare systems.

Botox is a quick and effective way to decrease the signs of aging by smoothing away facial wrinkles. It is one of my favorite aesthetic treatments. People feel good when they look good, so Botox can also help you feel your best. I love helping people feel more confident and powerful through treatments that also make them look and feel more youthful. 

## A Bit About Me
I grew up all over the country but have had a family home in Tahoe for over 40 years. After meeting my husband in Southern California, I finally convinced him to move back to Tahoe with me to raise our family. We have two daughters who are 5 and 3 years old and we feel fortunate to be raising them in Tahoe. They love gymnastics, dancing, skiing, and exploring the wilderness. Like the rest of the family, I love anything active. When I was younger, I rode horses, did gymnastics, competed in figure skating, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and ran track in college. I love being active, but also enjoy curling up on the couch with a good movie and some hot cocoa with my family.
