I got into medical aesthetics as a way to merge my nursing experience with my extensive background in beauty and fashion. ## Education and Qualifications
My first degree was in psychology, but soon after graduating, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in the fashion industry. I worked for nearly 15 years as a commercial photographer, retoucher, and creative director in New York before making the switch to nursing. I completed my nursing degree at New York University, and I currently work at Stanford Hospital in the Cardiac ICU.

As a fashion and beauty retoucher, I spent over a decade studying facial anatomy and expressions. I approach my work in medical aesthetics like a retoucher would approach a celebrity portrait. I focus on retaining facial characteristics that define personality, while using Botox to ease signs of aging. This can enhance your inner youthfulness and bring out a natural, refreshed appearance.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in the East Bay, then moved to San Diego for my first undergraduate degree. Next, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in the fashion industry. Recently we moved back to California. My wife and I have been married for over 10 years, and we currently live in San Jose. I love walking along Almaden with its array of unique shops, farmer's markets, and fun dining options. In our time off we enjoy going to family's homes in Montana and San Diego. I also spend a lot of time outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping with our rescue dog, Whiskey.
