
I have over a decade of nursing experience. Through the years I’ve worked mostly in pediatric and neonatal health where I help babies and children have a healthy start to life. I was drawn to nursing because I wanted a career that would allow me to combine science and medical expertise with holistic and compassionate care. Nursing isn’t just about healing the body, it’s also about providing emotionally centered care to each and every patient. 

I love helping people recover, but I also love helping them feel better about themselves. That’s why I offer at-home Botox treatments. Reducing fine lines and wrinkles can give a boost of confidence and help people feel their best.
## Education and Qualifications
I have a degree in nursing from the University of Hawaii, as well as a degree in social work and education from the University of California at Berkeley. I am also a Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse and a certified instructor for the American Nurses Association (AHA). I teach courses in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support to prepare nurses for emergencies.

Currently I, work as a Registered Nurse at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, where I split my time between the emergency department and the family birth center.

With over 7 years of experience working in pediatric and neonatal health, I have superior injection skills. I am also certified in ultrasound guided deep IV insertion, another skill requiring a combination of strong anatomical knowledge and precise fine motor skills. I have been certified to deliver Botox injections since early 2021.
## Botox Softens Facial Lines
I personally advocate for Botox as a way to soften, but not erase, our facial lines. These lines and wrinkles tell the stories of where we’ve been throughout life. Our joys and sorrows are traced on the details of our faces, and they’re a beautiful and integral part of our identity.

But as we age, it's wonderful to soften and smooth these fine lines and wrinkles. Botox treatments are a low-risk way to pamper ourselves and enjoy an increased sense of confidence and vitality without losing who we are.
## A Bit About Me
I grew up in Hawaii, but the adventure didn’t start there. When I was young, my family spent a few years on a 96 ft sailing ship traveling the South Pacific before we settled in Hawaii.

I currently live in Grass Valley, CA. I love the energy and outdoor attractions all around us in this vibrant foothill town. I value the flexibility and freedom to balance my work, family, and personal time. My husband Ian is also a nurse, and we have an 8-year-old daughter. She loves to ride horses and has been practicing circus arts and aerial silks for several years. 

As a family, we love to get outside, whether it’s mountain biking, skiing, backpacking, surfing, or riding horses. We have a big garden and love growing our own food. We also have two cats, a brother and sister named Charlie and Mouse.
