My nursing journey started because I wanted to help people during some of their most vulnerable moments. As a labor and delivery nurse and an aesthetic nurse, I strive to help people feel beautiful and strong inside and out.

I’ve always been motivated by my interest in the human body and how it works. I enjoy learning all I can! In my free time I read science books, because I am so interested in health and wellness, and how we can optimize our bodies to last us a long time.

## Education and Qualifications

I earned my undergraduate degree from UC Davis and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco. For the last 7 years, I’ve been working at UCSF in labor and delivery. Working with moms is such a rewarding experience and each day brings something new.

In the past few years, my interest in aesthetics has also grown. I started getting Botox to manage migraine and tension headaches, and this opened up a whole new side of nursing. For the past year, I’ve worked at a medspa doing aesthetic dermatology. I provide laser facials, laser hair removal, IPL, and coolsculpting. I have given thousands of injections in my career and have a very artistic eye to help you with your beauty goals.

## A Bit About Me

I grew up in Orinda but now live in Alameda. Our place is right on the estuary, and it’s so peaceful. I love being near the water and having access to so many parks. My husband and I have two dogs named Lucy and Tumi. We named Tumi after my love of turmeric milk lattes. Do you have any famous relatives? Albert Einstein was my great grandma’s cousin!
