When I was younger, I volunteered at a hospital. I looked forward to each shift and felt gratification at the end of the day, knowing that I had made a real difference in someone’s life. I discovered that I love interacting with patients and providing quality care at those times when people need some extra support. That’s what led me to my career in nursing. 

## Education and Qualifications
My first degree was a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from UC Davis. I believe in life-long learning and have prioritized ongoing education. That’s why I attended SF State for a Master’s in Nursing, followed by a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nurse Practitioner degree. I currently working at Kaiser Permanente as a Labor and Delivery nurse.

I also have education and experience delivering injectables like Botox and fillers. I have over 18 years of experience giving injections and intradermal injections in the hospital, increasing my skill and precision. I also have training in other cosmetic treatments, such as chemical peels and microneedling.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in San Francisco and I absolutely loved being a city girl surrounded by so many beautiful cultures. I was able to be independent as a teen, taking the Muni everywhere and exploring the city.  Now my husband Kenny and I live in Alameda. This cute suburban island is slower paced than SF, but it's been great raising our kids here. We have three beautiful children aged 14, 12, and 10. We also have a dog named Polo and a tortoise named Zena. 

I love staying active, whether that is going for a run, dancing, or hiking a beautiful trail. I also enjoy checking out new restaurants and eating great food with friends. I like to sing karaoke too, but my friend will tell you that I'm just really screaming into the mic.
