I didn’t start my career as a nurse. In fact, I was on my way to law school before I decided to transition to nursing. I wanted to make a difference and help people feel their best. Working as an RN has been a rewarding experience, full of heartbreak and joy.

I believe that healthcare is about nurturing the body as a whole. This encompasses mental, physical, and emotional health. Through nursing, I can help people feel their best, finding balance within each of these areas. 

## Education and Qualifications
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Weber State University. I’ve been nursing for over 7 years, working mainly in Acute Health Care. My background is in Critical Care and Cardiac Care, and I also have experience in Medical-Surgical care, Progressive Care, Long Term Acute Care, and Pediatric Home Health. 

Currently, I work in the ICU at Barton Memorial Hospital in South Lake Tahoe. I’m also a Botox injector, and my perfectionist nature ensures you always get the best results. 

Before I became a nurse, I finished a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. My other qualifications include an associate degree in biology and a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate. I love to learn, and I hope to continue learning throughout my life.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in Sandpoint, Idaho. Living on Lake Pend Oreille and Schweitzer Mountain in Northern Idaho, I developed a love of the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, exploring, staying active, practicing yoga, and always learning and growing. 

I currently live in South Lake Tahoe. I gravitated to South Lake Tahoe because it reminded me of Sandpoint. The beauty in Tahoe is breathtaking and hard to beat. I am married to my best friend Chris. Together we adopted two dogs named Doc and Archer.  

When we’re not working, we love to travel internationally. Some of my favorite spots have been New Zealand, Cambodia, and Thailand. I also volunteer my time as a Court Appointed Special Advocate to advocate for children and youth in foster care.
