When I started considering career options, I knew I wanted to make an impact on people’s lives. I also wanted a job that would allow me to constantly learn and grow, both professionally and personally. And that’s why I chose nursing. Each day is something new and different, and there’s never a dull moment at the hospital. 

Not only does this career keep my mind sharp, but it’s also extremely rewarding. Seeing a smile from a patient in the emergency room or from a Botox client is my motivation to keep doing what I’m doing. 
## Education and Qualifications
I’ve been nursing for 14 years, and I love it. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Dominican University, I started working in emergency medicine. I worked at CPMC hospital in San Francisco for 12 years.

I recently transferred to Novato Community Hospital, where I work as a registered nurse. I’m also qualified to offer cosmetic treatments such as Botox.
## I Have a Firm Foundation in Anatomy
As part of my education and ongoing learning, I have extensive hands-on anatomy training. I understand how all the facial muscles work together, and this helps me determine exactly what each client needs. While every face has the same muscle groups, each face is truly unique. Botox isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment. Instead, I use my training and expertise to make sure each of my clients gets exactly the right treatment and the most benefit.

## A Bit About Me
I grew up in the small town of Petaluma, then moved into San Francisco to start my nursing career. There I met my husband Sam, a New Yorker who’s doing great on the west coast. When we had our second daughter, we moved back to Petaluma. 

Sam is learning to adapt to life in the suburbs, and I love being back! The town has some of my favorite restaurants and the feeling of community is huge here. Whether I’m supporting the local winery or doing yoga in the park, I always see familiar faces. 

Our girls are 4 and 2, and they love to twirl, climb, and color. We also have a well-loved beta fish named Blue Sparkle. I enjoy cooking for myself and including my kids, even though it always makes a bigger mess than I’m expecting. I love organizing, and I’m often seen lining things up around the house or office, so it looks orderly and coordinated. I also enjoy running, riding my peloton, and painting my own gel nails.
