## Don’t Be a Backseat Drive

Don’t be an armchair injector and tell them how to do their job. Even if your friend got 12 units of Botox to smooth crow’s feet doesn’t mean that’s the right dosage for you. Trust your injector to know the pros and cons of products, injection sites, and dosage.
## Stick to the Plan
Your Botox appointment is the last step in getting the perfect cosmetic treatment. Before the appointment, you met with your doctor, considered the risks and benefits, and decided what treatment option was best for you. Then you selected a skilled injector, booked an appointment, and made a treatment plan. 

But when you’re sitting in the chair about to get Botox, it’s normal to have some doubts. The best thing you can do at this moment is stick to the plan. Remember that you’re in good hands and both the doctor and your injector are working with you to give you optimal results. Don’t second-guess yourself or change your mind at the last minute. The only way to get the best results is to follow through with your plan.

If you’re having doubts, don’t forget that Botox isn’t forever. On average, Botox results last three to six months, so you can adjust your dose or try another cosmetic treatment if you want to see different results. 
##  Don’t Chit Chat During Your Appointment 
If you’ve been working with the same injector for a while, you may have a lot to catch up on at your next appointment. But it’s not a good idea to have a conversation while getting Botox injections. Pause the conversation when the needle comes out and try to keep your face still. Chatting during your appointment moves a lot of facial muscles. It can impact the location and depth of your injections, and even affect your Botox results.  
## Keep Breathing
It’s easy to forget to breathe in moments of stress. Anticipating a poke can make you hold your breath. However, holding your breath can increase your discomfort during injections. Instead, focus on your breathing. It helps to inhale and exhale deeply throughout your appointment.
